Contract Manager/Quantity Surveyor

We wish to recruit a Contract Manager/Quantity Surveyor to work in our busy project office in Chepstow.

Your main duties will include making monthly applications for payment; dealing with contract variations and claims; negotiating final accounts; valuing applications received by us from sub-contractors; advising on contractual terms at tender and pre-contract stage; liaising with our project managers and accounts department in respect of monthly contract work-in-progress valuations. From time to time you may be required to take on the project management of certain projects.

This is a Senior appointment and ideally you will have held a similar position previously. You will be fully conversant with the main construction sub-contracts including NEC and JCT  and are likely to have formal qualifications although consideration will be given to suitably experienced applicants.
