Materials > Tenara
Tenara fabric, also known as ePTFE, is a beautifully elegant option. This fabric is UV resistant, chemically inert, easy to maintain and very versatile. One of the many benefits is its ability to be folded. ePTFE has high crease resistance making it effective for both demountable structures or retractables.
Tenara is essentially a weldable form of PTFE offering strength, flexibility, longevity as well as unrivalled aesthetics. The translucency of this fabric is excellent, which is why it was used over Wimbledon’s centre court.
Applications for this versatile fabric include: retractable awnings, stadium roofs, walkway canopies for retail centres, covered courtyards and play areas for schools.
