Dundee Signs
With experience in the manufacture and installation of printed banners and signage, Architen Landrell won the contract to manufacture and install a series of signs across the city of Dundee.
As part of a wider campaign to promote Dundee as the City of Discovery Architen Landrell was asked to manufacture the signs which were installed across the city.
The city title, taken from the Royal Research Ship Discovery - Scott's first vessel to sail to the Antarctic -
Working closely with printers Scanachrome, Architen Landrell transferred artistic impressions of the ship onto a PVC coated polyester banner fabric and manufactured them into the triangular panels. Installation onto existing steelwork was simple, although the cold weather brought a chill to the hands of the site crew!
