Highbury Stadium
When Arsenal Football Club wanted to redevelop their North Stand, they wanted to cause as little disruption as possible to the stadium and turned to Architen Landrell to build them a printed banner to screen the area under development.
A local artist created an impression of the arsenal supporters in the new stand which was printed onto the PVC banner fabric and installed in front of the brand new stand to hide building works.
The banner also concealed loud speakers which picked up and relayed sounds from the other stands to add extra effect and maintain the stadium atmosphere.
