Ibstock Place School
Ibstock Place School is set in a beautiful location so it was only right that when they came to add a feature canopy that it was complimentary and equally eye catching!
The school board was looking to create a covered outdoor space in a traditional stone flagged courtyard. The canopy needed to have high architectural integrity but also be a cost effective solution. Liaising with the Architen Landrell sales team, they chose a double conic structure in PVC coated polyester – one of the range of standard, and therefore more economical, products which we offer.
The structure was carefully positioned to fit in with the surrounding structures and so as not to obstruct the main view of the house. The clean and modern lines of the double compliment the high pitched roofs of the existing buildings and form a nice contrast.
Installation of the structure was a little tricky but nothing which our experienced site team couldn’t handle. Difficult access precluded the use of heavy machinery - instead we used lightweight equipment assembled on site to lift and position steelwork.
