Architen were approached to design, manufacture and install a series of lightweight tensile fabric rafts to act as isolated ceiling panels to hide services, act as light reflectors, and lower the perceived ceiling in Nike's Paris flagship store.
The bespoke panels are constructed from lightweight extruded aluminium box section and finished with epoxy powder-coating. Each panel was suspended from the roof using stainless steel hardware and adjusted with proprietary yacht rigging tensioners.
