This Sculpture designed by Textile Artist Sally Freshwater was commissioned by Poole Arts Centre Director Robin Cave to hang on the west facade of the building.
The three storey high spiral of white sail elements and triangular entrance canopy hang apparently effortlessly on the white facade. In fact the installation involved some of the most difficult resin anchor fixing undertaken by our company with stainless rods and stainless stocking mesh inserts mobilising three layers of masonry leaves.
