Health and Safety
At Architen Landrell, our health and safety policy forms the heart of our operations and is integral in all activities carried out. We believe it is our responsibility to ensure the safety, health and welfare at work of all our employees and to prevent all unnecessary risks to the safety or health of others. Our office and site based Health and Safety Supervisors are present throughout our involvement in a project and ensure that our team, and any associated companies, maintain the highest of standards.
Our formal Health and Safety Policy outlines the aims of the company, and lists the steps we will take to ensure that those goals are met. We constantly revise and update the health and safety aims of the company to ensure that we promote the highest quality of safety standards.
As a core element of our business, Architen Landrell aims to:
- Promote good health and safety behaviour at all times
- Ensure risk assessments are carried out on all activities by informed staff
- Train our staff in the essential principles of working safely and allow them to make informed choices about the health and safety issues within the work place
- Ensure our trained and fully competent staff actively contribute to the safe planning and execution of their work
- To establish good channels of communication to encourage all members of staff to get involved in developing health and safety practices
As a company, we place particular importance on the provision of information, instruction, training and supervision. All our site staff are CSCS and the company is Safe Contractor certified, and extra health and safety training is given to those who take part in rope access installations. We have strict accident reporting procedures and designated staff are trained in first aid and emergency response.
All employees have a duty to take reasonable care of their own health and safety, as well as that of others, and to co-operate fully in all discussions and actions necessary to provide such care. Architen Landrell believes in educating its employees in safe practices and all staff are inducted and retrained regularly.
