Architen is known for prestigious projects where meticulous attention to detail is required on every level.  Our latest installation inside the Victoria and Albert Museum can now be experienced by the public.

Architen installed an innovative series of motorised blinds allowing the museum to precisely control the amount of sunlight entering the gallery from the glazed roof.

With over 200 one of a kind pieces on display, controlling the galleries lighting was critical to the success of the new Dr. Susan Weber Gallery. Here visitors can view works by Frank Lloyd Wright, Ray Eames and many more (spanning 600 years).

We are proud to have been invited to work inside the Worlds Greatest Museum of Art and Design, helping bring the V&A into the 21st century with high tech solar shading.
