Protecting your investment and offering you peace of mind is important to us. That’s why we have a dedicated team to look after our structures worldwide.

Just about everything today is maintained – from cars, to buildings, to fabric structures and ETFE systems. In order to maximise the lifespan of your structure, we recommend a maintenance plan. Call our Maintenance Team on 01291 638200 or email maintenance@architen.com

ETFE Maintenance

Like all live systems, ETFE cushion roofs need to be maintained to ensure performance and longevity.

An ETFE foil cushion roof is dependent on its inflation system so we recommend that the air handling units are serviced twice a year. Architen Landrell has a designated Maintenance Department which deals with planned and emergency works at sites across the world. Our team offers:

  • Visual inspection of the ETFE Cushions
  • Checks of all components to ensure fixity and integrity
  • Inspection and testing of the inflation equipment, including replacing filters
  • Fine tuning the operation of the inflation equipment to maintain optimum performance
  • Repair of minor holes and tears

Fabric Structures Maintenance

To ensure their longevity and reliability, tensile fabric structures should undergo regular inspection and maintenance. This is required by some building warranties and health and safety regulations.

While all of our structures are built to last, weather conditions, accidents and misuse do mean they can deteriorate over time. This is why we offer the following:

  • Professional cleaning
  • Comprehensive inspection reports and condition surveys
  • Repairs: onsite for small jobs or larger sections can be manufactured in our factory
  • A 24 hour response service is available offering emergency support and technical expertise

Our Knowledge

We maintain digital and physical records of all our installed structures. In addition, our site reports from maintenance inspections are analysed so we know what works and what works best for problems arising. By learning from one structure, we can take preventative actions in similar structures. This allows us to address any issues rapidly and with confidence.
