Rope Access Installation

Critical to the success of a project is the skill and coordination of site operations, and the construction and installation of tensile structures often involves potentially high risk operations, with demanding access requirements or complex lifting operations. Architen Landrell has a strong team of experienced and accomplished riggers, fabricators, site and installation managers who specialise in the fitting of tensile fabric structures.

Our installers, who are all CSCS certified, trained in plant operation and rope access, are among the most skilled in the industry and can install anything from a kilometre long roofing structure to fabric cladding and even sculptural features.

We ensure that our site crew are involved in the project process from early on; meaning installation and site access are clear considerations long before a structure is ready to go to site.

Architen Landrell’s involvement in the installation of a structure delivers an efficient and safe working method performed by efficient, highly trained teams. Our quality systems ensure the close involvement of project managers and health and safety specialists within all site operations, resulting in working methods that optimise efficiency and the safety of our crew, subcontracted workers and the public. Our strict adherence to health and safety regulations within the construction industry, and our extensive training programmes that reflect these codes, mean our site crew are able to provide thorough health and safety plans, method statements and risk assessments for all work carried out. They are covered under comprehensive insurance policies and are Safe Contractor approved.

Our site supervisors and riggers are all certificated to work at height (whether from mobile access equipment or a climbing harness) and to oversee crane lifting operations. Our high level of training in aerial access installation means that while we are the leaders in the fitting of tensile fabric structures, we are also capable of installing not just our own work but also providing a separate service to fit the work of others, particularly when there is a need for rope access or working at height.

The Architen Landrell site crew are also qualified in the installation and use of safety and walk on nets – a hugely important part of the installation process. Designed primarily to protect site workers from falling, the nets are a safer alternative to scaffolding and can be used when rope access work is not an option. They are quickly and economically installed and provide a safe work platform for fabric and non-fabric installations at height.

The Architen Landrell installation team offer immediate service; rigging nets to keep fall distances to a minimum, providing maximum protection for the faller and minimum loading on the structure itself.

Our team of supervisors can also take on a site management role and work closely alongside our office-based installation mangers to co-ordinate our site staff with subcontracted or local workforce, to achieve excellent results. Our knowledge and experience of working with plant equipment also means we are able to supervise cranage and a wide range of mechanical equipment. Whatever a client requires, Architen Landrell’s installation team provides an efficient and competent workforce.
