Portfolio > BP Petal Sculpture

As part of a refurbishment and branding exercise, BP wanted to install a fabric sculpture in the atrium of their London headquarters.
As specialists in tensile fabric and with experience in creating these types of fabric sculptures BP appointed Architen Landrell to realise their vision.
The hanging feature was designed, manufactured and installed for BP and combined both the creative and technical sides of our business. The petals were created using a lycra based fabric which was stretched over a steel frame to create an entirely smooth appearance. The petals were then internally led using LED lighting in order to make them glow.
Hanging at jaunty angles down the centre of the atrium the petal sculpture cannot fail to make an impression!
