In the offices of Ealing Borough Council, the modern, glazed roof was turning two atrium spaces into a greenhouse so designers Pringle Brandon felt something needed to be done.

With a long standing relationship with Architen Landrell, the firm of designers approached the company to propose a solution to the solar problem. Drawing on their range of standard products, the Architen Interiors team suggested the installation of 7 hypars in each atrium to be hung from the steelwork already in place in the roof.

The mass of existing steelwork on site made installation a relatively easy procedure. A simple method of choking around the existing steelwork was used for fixing the hypars to minimise time and cost.

The overall effect was simple and effective, and we continue to work with Pringle Brandon on a range of internal and external projects.
