ETFE Roof Structure

Written by in ETFE, Education

As part of a Public Funding Initiative, Architen Landrell is thrilled to have won the contract to install two 1,300sqm single ply ETFE roof systems at two secondary schools in Oldham.

The brand new schools, which are to entirely replace the old Failsworth and Radclyffe Schools, will offer around 1,500 places each and provide state-of-the-art facilities for pupils and the local community. The scheme, designed to create a series of streets incorporates a variety of teaching and learning environments which will adapt to the changing aspects of the National Curriculum.

The schools are currently under construction by Main Contractors, Kier Group, who will be joined on site by Architen Landrell this autumn. Installation is expected to be finished by the New Year, ready for the grand opening of the learning centres in February 2008.
