There is a lot of activity this week and next at Newmarket Racecourse in Suffolk.  Architen is on site installing the steel framework for a bespoke series of interconnected Conic fabric structures.

Next week two cranes arrive on site to lift the enormous fabric canopy into place so that we can start the tensioning process.

The conic tensile fabric structure, designed by Roberts Limbrick Architects, will look stunning while offering VIPs a shaded place to sip champagne and watch the races from one of the best spots in the venue.
